The Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Birmingham in Alabama announced new officers to their Organizational Board, from left to right Lisa Henderson as Secretary, Dolores Milazzo-Hicks-Vice President, Ray Makofsky- President-Liaison, Father Michael Wrigley-Spiritual Director, Kathy Tortorice- Treasurer. A new Advisory Board for CCROB includes leaders in the community and prayer groups, Hispanic Communities & Youth representative from around the Diocese.
Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Birmingham was established in 1968. Our Mission Statement We are witnesses to the Gospel as we proclaim His resurrection, and await His coming in glory. At the heart of our community is celebration of the Word, of the Eucharist, of the Sacraments.
Evangelization Outreach Includes:
+Prayer Group Meetings: consisting of praise and worship of God, teachings, scriptures, prayer.
+The Annual Catholic Charismatic Conference for the Diocese of Birmingham in Alabama
+Life in the Spirit and Growth Seminars that promotes catechesis as we journey with the Holy Spirit as our guide, with Mary, the Mother of God as our model, and in communion with our Bishop and the Holy Father, the Bishop of Rome.
